IM Remarkable Challenge - The Summary

The challenge is finally over, I really had a good time competing against so many great marketers!

So I´ll do a recap of all what I did, of what I learned and how my mindset evolved (priceless)

I came to this challenge two days late and I was like "Ohh... I wanted to participate, it´s a pity that it already started..." and, as usual, I invented thousands of excuses not to participate.

But then I said to myself to just shut up and do the best I can. And I did it. I started the challenge and took a lot of action... and now that the challenge ended the feeling is GREAT! When you vanish your fears and lame excuses you feel just awesome and IM Remarkable helped me with that.

After reading the "36 niches" PDF I finally understood how to monetize a lot of niches that I had no idea on how to do it. Actually, I only knew (theory) how to make money in the "make money niche" lol!

The next thing that I did was keyword research.
I learned how to use Google Related Search, the Wonderwheel, Google Suggestions and the External Tool. And then I improved my skill at researching trends with Google Insights. But that´s not all, the most important thing I learned during this process is TO PUT ALL THAT DATA TOGETHER! Then, and only then, you can understand how to do niche research!

That knowledge gave me unlimmited confidence and now everytime I do a search on Google I see oportunities! How much valuable that skill is? For me, a lot.

Let´s continue:

Next thing I did was create some pre-sell content for my future 2.0 sites. To be honest with you, I could do better. I didn´t because I followed Howie´s advice and just took action and created some content. As Howie says: Perfect things never get published.

With the keyword research done and the content armed and ready my next step was to create 2.0 sites and bookmark them. I got pretty fast at doing it :) That´s F&$#ing Cool!

Than I decided to give Camtasia a try and , regardless my not-perfect english, I did a video.

The next day I got my propeller acount deleted so I learned that you don´t want to use always the same content when you bookmark. Nice tip! I did even more 2.0 sites and bookmarks as a revenge! lol.

Did even more bookmarks (using different sites that I found at socialmarker.com) and created a lot of Camtasia videos (it´s addictive!) showing how I create my sites and how I update them too.

I spent Wednesday 8th rendering and uploading those videos. It wasn´t fun but someone had to do it, and it was me! It killed a lot of my time so to keep taking action I created some accounts at Bookmark Generation (great tool).

Watched a video where Howie mentioned Google Blog Ping and Technorati Claims so, after watching it, I immediately applied the new knowledge! That day I decided to take action as soon as I learn something! And that mindset is a great one... do you agree?

The last day of the challenge was a day of MASSIVE action and MASSIVE learning and, at the end, MASSIVE satisfaction.

I begun the day by writing an article. I never done it before so I read some articles to have an idea of what it is all about. Took some notes and just wrote one! Then I submited it to some article sites. Yes Howie, you were right when you said that article marketing is not as sexy as web 2.0! But I learned how to do it and it feels great to have another weapon to use.

Video marketing is something that I never did before too. So I went to animoto and created a simple slideshow with water-marked photos and uploaded it to some video sites. It was easier than I thought! The video suck, ok? But I know that the next time I´ll do better and I´ll keep
constantly improving my skills. IM Remarkable really changed my mindset. Now I´m a lot more confident about myself, my self-esteem is HIGH and it helped me to destroy some bad habits (like not taking action).

Got the idea to update my sites with the video I made, so I went and inserted the video to my 2.0 sites.

Kept making bookmarks and created some more accounts at Bookmark Generation to promote my new articles and videos.

And my last strike was:
1-Update my wordpress with more content
2-Create even more 2.0 sites to give some link juice to the old ones.

12.00 EST, the challenge finished... but my journey just started. Everyone who I saw at this challenge took a lot of action. It was a honor to compete against all those really remarkable marketers. But, as I stated above, it´s just the beginning.

I enjoyed (and enjoyed a lot) taking so much action. Before IM Remarkable I was afraid of failure, so I never did anything. Now I´m another person. I´m waiting for tomorrow to come so I can get up again and keep moving. Faster than before, better than before.

This was an awesome experience and I really can´t tell with words how great I feel right now!

Everyone! Let´s keep taking massive action and being remarkable!

Thanks Howie, thanks everyone!

Bye, bye!

The new Bullet XF18-Z (new releases always have those names): Article Marketing!

So here is the process:

Browsed some articles to have an idea to write about (I don't know anything about this...):

Okey... Blogger shows me an error message so I can't upload more images (I'll try to update this post before time runs out).
The other images show some articles that I found at ezinearticles.com

So I read them all, took some notes and crafted an article:

"The 5 Golden Rules Of Muscle Building For Skinny Guys

If you are a skinny guy (by the way, I know you are, I have super powers :) there’re six rules that you MUST follow in order to build yourself a muscular body. Period. If you are not gaining muscle mass your solution lies in applying this six concepts.

1st Golden Rule:

In order for us, the skinny guys, to grow we need all the calories we can get. And, as you should now, weight lifting is a calorie expensive activity. You don’t have room for light-weight work. Your workouts need to consist of ten sets where you push yourself to the max.

2nd Golden Rule:

You don’t have all the time in the world to spend in the gym. Your time is limited (calories, remember?). So you don’t want to do isolated exercises (bicep curls, chest flys, you name it). You must focus on compound lifts only. This are weight-lifting exercises like bench presses, deadlifts, quats and military presses.

3rd Golden Rule:

Getting fat? Don’t worry about that! If you don’t switch to a pizza diet nothing will go wrong. So cardio is just a waste of (priceless) calories. If you want to do some for general health, it’s ok, but don’t over-charge it. Two times a week, 30 minutes each, low intensity. Don’t forget that your battlefield is in the weight room!

4th Golden Rule:

A lot of people forget about this one: rest is important! Don’t sacrifice you sleep time!

When you sleep is your body repairs itself and grows stronger so short-circuit sleep and you are short-circuiting your results. Just don't do it. It's that simple.

5th Golden Rule

Find a mentor. Someone who has been where you are now and succeeded. His experience and little secrets will save you a lot of costly (and painful) mistakes.

If you really want to have a muscular and healthy body you definitely need to follow Vince Delmonte’s advice. He was a skinny guy, now he is the Canadian Fitness Model Champion. Discover his secrets here: LINK (this one: http://www.squidoo.com/vincedelmonteworkout)"

Next thing to do: Publish it!
